Since childhood he has had the genetic disease of the blues.

He got his first tape with Elvis’s music at the age of 7.

He already knew then that one day he would play in the King’s band.

He claims he is Hendrix’s brother or Janis Joplin - he gets confused himself.

But he usually performs without a mask.

The idea for the foundation of our band was born in September 2011 during the event called Satyrblues in city Tarnobrzeg. After his performance at the festival, Martin "Elvis" Życzyński, who was at that time dreaming about his own band, met Jacek Szpytma who asked him to do a show with the accompany of his bandmates. After only few rehearsals, cooperation of this both gentlemen had its musical premiere which took place on the small stage at Przeworsk Blues Festival in July 2012. After the successful performance and enthusiastic reactions coming from the crowd the band decided to establish a musical project which, in reference to our Polish roots, was named ELVIS.PL
